Happy Halloween!
My mom’s neighborhood has this great path that cuts through the woods and ends at a pond with a shelter house and playground. Every year, volunteers get stations along the trail where they decorate and the kids go trick or treating to the end of the path. There you find more volunteers serving up hot dogs, hamburgers, cider and hot cocoa. About five years ago, we started hosting a station.

ReplyDeleteOh, my, gosh... how great is it to have woods, paths and then scary points/stations! I'm sure it was a lot of fun for the adults but can you imagine the great memories you are making for the kids?! Thanks for a great post.
